The equestrian dressage competition is one among the few events that everyone will mark off on their calendars so as to be sure not to miss it.
During a dressage event, the competitors have to ride their horses and make them perform certain elements like canter, trot and walk in an arena in front of their judges. Some music is also played and every competitor is expected to choreograph a freestyle routine with the horses to the tune of the music.
These events are carefully planned, with all logistics well taken care of. The event organizers have different plans for their events and competitions, depending on the kind of guests they expect. Here is a review of some of the competitions and events that we expect this year:
Summer dressage club
This is a yearly event: Summerland dressage club will be hosting a mega event on 19th April 2015 at Bangalow. The range of classes expected at the event will be from Prelim to Inter1. Merle Speakman has more information regarding the event. Other events and competitions organised by Summerland dressage club can be found at their website. It usually allows entry to the competition by nomination. These events bring a new life for equestrian lovers owing to the amazing experiences given by the people who attend. Save the date.
World Equestrian Festival Aachen 2015
From 29th to 31st May, the Aachen Soers will have a packed showground for those attending the world equestrian festival. Frank Kemperman assured that some of the best horse riders in the world will be competing for a prize in this grand event. Tickets are currently on sale. Aachen has an ideal atmosphere for horse riding that can’t be found anywhere else. It also blends in well with the lifestyle of the people, motions within and the love for the sport in the city. The competitors will be competing for the Deutsche Bank Prize, which the Deutsche Bank has been sponsoring for the last 60 years. The main theme for the event will be integrating the traditional taste with a modern insight of the equestrian sport, not only for Aachen, but other global equestrian lovers.
Besides the fun in watching horse riders showcase their prowess, live show programme by the Horse & Symphony and Aachen Symphony Orchestra will accompany festivities throughout the day. These shows only promise more fun as guests begin to book their tickets now in anticipation.
