Is London the world’s fashion capital?
If you ask anyone in the city what the fashion capital of the world is, they’ll probably say London. Sure there’s Paris, New York and Milan but we all know that when it comes to style, London has it sussed. Wherever you walk you’re sure to find a stylish guy or girl pounding the street like they’ve just hit the runway; but even within this fashion mecca, there’s a distinct look to be found in different parts of the city.
To get the lowdown on the different styles seen in the different parts of London, SmartBuyGlasses teamed up with four of our favourite London based bloggers to discuss their personal style and the areas of London that inspire them.
Oxford Street is at the heart of London and is obviously the place to hit the shops. Sure you’ll see the tourists but you’ll also find the on-trend, fashion forward and daring crowd shopping hard.
There’s nowhere more sophisticated than Chelsea, well, there wasn’t until that MIC lot ruined it. The style here is classic with a touch of luxury.
Marylebone High Street
Marylebone High Street is a great spot for window shopping but be sure to dress the part. A timeless and chic style is an essential for heading to these boutiques.
East London/Brick Lane
Everyone knows that Brick Lane is the place to go to pick some great vintage clobber and you’ll be sure to spot some pretty individual styles here too.
