There are more things to do on Boxing Day than staying at home and eating leftover turkey sandwiches. From walking off that previous day of indulgence to watching the most anticipated film of the year, why not end the year with a great experience!

Skate at Canary Wharf Ice Rink

One of the best activities to try this winter before it comes to an end: head on down to Canary Wharf to enjoy skating and the skylines. For those who’d rather watch, there’s a heated outdoor viewing terrace to sit back and laugh from.

If you haven’t already heard, there’s a new Star Wars film out! Favourites Han Solo and Chewbacca return in this new action-packed sequel that’s already a hit with the critics. Fan of the previous trilogy or not, this is one film worth watching before the end of 2015.

See Slava’s Snowshow at the Southbank Centre

The festive celebrations don’t have to end on Christmas Day. Returning to the Royal Festive Hall in the Southbank Centre for its fifth year, this wintry show will give first-time theatre-goers an experience they’ll never forget. Complete with clowns and a blizzard, this will undoubtedly keep your festive spirit up.
