Robert Rauschenberg at Tate Modern
If you’re looking for something a bit off the wall, try Robert Rauschenberg. This innovative idol of conceptual art produced iconic work throughout his six-decade career. Discover it at the Tate this Christmas – highlights include his 1955-59 work Monogram, which consists of a stuffed goat inside a car tyre.

Adventures in Moominland at Southbank Centre
A delight for children and adults alike, this immersive exhibition takes groups of visitors on an adventure through the land of the Moomins. As well as fun sound effects and playful snow scenes, there are original drawings by Moomin-creator Tove Jansson and a brilliant voice-over by Sandi Toksvig.

The Radical Eye: Modernist Photography from the Sir Elton John Collection at Tate Modern
Tate Modern’s exhibition programme has been particularly impressive this year, and this photography show is no exception. Although it might seem gimmicky to draw on the collection of such a famous star, Sir Elton’s collection is full of extraordinary works, carefully curated to tell the story of early 20th-century photography.
