Sunday Feasts at Covent Garden: An exciting new project by Edible Experiences

Sunday Feasts is a new project by Edible Experiences, putting some of the best local supper clubs from around London into a professional space in Covent Garden on Sunday nights. Being involved in the Sunday Feasts itself and having the opportunity to be one of the many supper clubs taking part in this event, we attended and prepped canapés for a press night that was held on Tuesday at the School of Wok.  It showcased an evening of taster canapés of what is to come, with some delicious and intriguing flavour combinations, scoping from a variety of worldwide cuisines. Plus the chance to get mingling with all these passionate chefs themselves.

WenLin Soh, Director of Edible Experiences & Sunday Feasts explains:

“Sundays are for fortifying yourself for the week ahead. We at Edible Experiences reckon the best fortification comes from sharing a feast with friends. Some friends you’ll bring with you; Some you’ll meet over a sharing platter while dining at one of our upcoming Sunday Feasts in Covent Garden.

“Be it Filipino adobo by Budaya Kusina, or Roman-style porchetta by Backdoor Kitchen, or Mauritian Cari Poulet by Yummy Choo, or Peruvian-Japanese prawn causa sushi rolls by FabCooking and Yuki’s Kitchen, or Reggae hot chocolate by Lisa’s Jamaican Kitchen (we could go on), come try authentic home-style dishes that are difficult to find in restaurants, but are much-celebrated dishes in communal Sunday feasts in exotic parts of the world.”

Sunday Feasts will run for all of September, October and November, and are very reasonably priced at £36 + £3.60 booking fee and allow guests to BYOB. So why not join in, and try something different?
