Victoria’s Secret Floral Fantasy: Every woman’s dream bra

It’s that time of the year again ladies when we fantasise about a bra that costs over a million pounds. On 18^th October Alessandra Ambrosio revealed the new Victoria’s Secret Floral Fantasy Bra worth £1.54 million. The model will have the honour of wearing the design during this year’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. The Fantasy Bra, as it is now known, has become a Victoria’s Secret institution, modelled by a selected Angel each year in the closing moments of the show.

 

Ambrosio was chosen to wear the bra after eleven years as an Angel. She follows in the footsteps of Karolina Kurkova, Heidi Klum, Tyra Banks, Adriana Lima and most recently Miranda Kerr.

 

Each year a different theme is chosen. For 2012 it’s a floral theme: amethysts, sapphires, rubies and white, pink and yellow diamonds arranged in the shapes of flowers and green stems. This masterpiece is made of 5,200 precious stones in total, including a giant diamond flower dangling from the centre and a matching belt.

The bras began as far back as 1996 when Claudia Schiffer, the first ever Angel to wear the Million Dollar Miracle Bra. Shortly after, Tyra Banks wore the $3 million worth Diamond Dream Bra. The rest is history…
