Claire’s for UNICEF

Claire’s for UNICEF

Yesterday we were invited to the launch of the partnership between accessories retail brand Claire’s with the UNICEF charity. The venue in central London’s Portland place was transformed into a magical winter wonderland. White trees were adorned by jewellery and snowflake motifs lit up the ice white walls. Angelically dressed hostesses served up a sweet mix of candy for the adults and children alike, whilst we took our pick of pretty bracelets at the jewellery bar.

We sipped on watermelon martinis and nibbled on a variety of mouth-watering canapés.

Eliza Doolittle set the tone for the evening, spinning a number of tunes, creating a disco vibe which got us all cutting shapes on the dance floor.

The worthy cause for which we were gathered is aptly titled “Little things make a big difference”.  The latest initiative between Claire’s and the children’s charity sees the launch of six bespoke jewellery items which, when sold, will raise money for UNICEF’s vital work helping to save children’s lives across the world.

From each item sold, €1 will go directly to the charity, which can provide life-saving vaccinations to eight children, or provide food to a malnourished child for a day, proving that little things really do make a big difference!

The pretty range is now available across Europe in Claire’s stores, and customers can also make a bigger difference by purchasing a gift card in store for any amount, and adding a £2 donation to the charity.
