The Body Shop launches new Absinthe line

The Body Shop launches new Absinthe line

The Body Shop, synonymous with their fair trade, cruelty free, amazingly scented body butters has recently launched an entire line of Absinthe hand products. Yes, we said absinthe! Also known as that green-coloured liquid with a reputation for being a hallucinogenic, and rumoured to have caused Vincent Van Gogh to cut off his ear. Hallucinogens aside, these hand products pack a moisturising punch with absinthe extract and shea butter, leaving hands feeling super soft and fresh.

The line consists of four hand products (anti-bacterial gel, cream, wash and the ever-popular hand butter) all spiked with absinthe, and are designed to help relieve your dry skin, and cover up bad odours. Don’t be alarmed. You won’t go about your day smelling like booze. The products have a nice, earthy scent. With cold temperatures, freak snow storms and blasting indoor heat, our hands can only take so much exposure to the elements. The line came just in time to help us get through these last few weeks of winter.
