Henry Holland does cancer charity

Exclusively on eBay from 7pm on Saturday 16th February until midnight on Sunday 24th February, Henry Holland’s limited edition capsule collection will be available for bidding. All proceeds shall go towards Cancer Research UK.

The four-piece range features a colourful rave wave print inspired by the label’s autumn/winter 2013-14 collection. Items are priced between £25 -£100 and will be shipped free to anywhere in the UK.  1

“Cancer Research UK is a charity that is very close to my heart – I am always keen to support them in any way I can and I am thrilled the proceeds of the collection will be going to them. This is the second season that I’m working with eBay, having initially worked with them coming through the BFC’s Fashion Forward Scheme,” said Henry Holland.

“The capsule collection has been inspired by my autumn/winter 2013-14 collection and I am excited to take House of Holland to a wider audience and bring fans a key print from my upcoming show early.” 2

The collection is an evolution of the relationship between eBay and House of Holland, which was first launched in September 2012 when the label was part of the British Fashion Council’s Fashion Forward project.

This the first time eBay.co.uk has collaborated with a designer on a collection personally designed for and stocked on the site. 3

Melanie Smallwood, head of eBay fashion brands says: “Henry Holland is a fantastic British designer. By collaborating with House of Holland we’ll give the label access to our 17 million eBay shoppers and will also raise funds for Cancer Research UK.” 4

Frances Milner, fundraising director at Cancer Research UK, said: “We’re thrilled Henry Holland and eBay have chosen to support Cancer Research UK with this exciting new range. Henry’s been a keen and active supporter of the charity over recent years, as has eBay for charity, and we’re very grateful for their support. The funds raised from these exclusive items will go towards vital research and will help us to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured.”

At the same time the bidding commences on eBay, the House of Holland London Fashion Week show begins.
