When it comes to ageing, here at The Upcoming, we refuse to do so gracefully!

We demand powerful and high tech products containing only seriously hard working ingredients.

We’ve decided we owe it to womankind to reveal our best-kept secrets and beauty weapons used to fight off the process of ageing.

Cleansing

The foundation to any great skincare routine is cleansing – get this stage right and you’ll maximise the performance of any other product applied. Liz Earle’s multi-award winning cleanse and polish is the original and the best hot cloth cleanser. Since launching in 1995, companies have tried desperately and unsuccessfully to replicate this winning formulation. With essential oil of chamomile, rosemary and eucalyptus, extract of hops and cocoa butter, this powerful concoction leaves no pore unclean!

The two step process involves massaging the luxurious cream all over the complexion, while breathing deeply to enjoy the aroma. Remove by soaking the muslin cloth in warm water and pressing onto the face, allowing the heat to penetrate for a couple of seconds before buffing off. Kiss goodbye to even the deepest of rouge noir lipsticks and stubborn mascara, no trace of make-up will remain. The gentle exfoliating action of the muslin cloth sloughs off dulling dead skin cells, revealing a bright and youthful complexion. With such an amazing product on your bathroom shelf, it’ll be no chore at all to use twice daily.

Cleanse and polish £14.75

Concentrate

No anti-ageing warrior should be without her concentrate, fine enough to penetrate even the deepest layers of skin and supercharging the effect of all products that follow. Don’t stop at using this treat just on you face, super-skin concentrate can boast a reduction in the appearance of scars, stretch marks and fine lines, were contemplating bathing in this luxurious oil. One pump is all you need to cover from décolleté to forehead, a little goes along way in both performance and power.

Super-skin concentrate £40.50

Moisturiser

Top beauty journalist Josephine Fairly has been quoted many a time saying she’d remortgage her house to ensure she was able to keep using Liz Earle’s Super-skin moisturiser. Recommendations don’t come much higher than that! It is a powerfully aromatic blend of essential oils that can be applied morning and night, creating the perfect base for make up and night time skin renewal alike.

Super–skin moisturiser £36.25

Eye cream

With our eyes being described as the window to our soul, it’s essential to treat the surrounding skin with the upmost of care.

If you suffer from puffy eyes and they are prone to watering, then the likelihood is that you’re applying your face cream to close to them.

Place your hands over your eyes, and feel the bones below, the circular hollow in which your eyes sit are the orbital bones. Your face cream should not enter this area. Heat from our skin transports any product applied on the orbital bone to cover the skin surrounding the eye in just the right concentration.

With eye cream, less is more: to apply, take a pump that is approximately the size of a grain of rice. Using your ring fingers, pat this grain between both fingers, then pat all around the orbital bone, the idea is that you can feel the bone beneath your fingers, use this as a guide for application.

If you’re used to layering on the eye product then this may seam strange at first, but trust us, not only will your product last twice as long, your mascara will remain on your lashes instead of half way down your face!

Super-skin eye and lip treatment £27.50

We’re confident any skin care concern will find its perfect partner with Liz Earle, be sure to check out Liz’s new colour range, who knew make up could be so good for your skin.
