The new fragrance: “Pink Friday” by Nicki Minaj
Nicki Minaj released her exciting new fragrance on the 15th of March; named after her second album Pink Friday, the star combines her hot pink Harajuku-esque style and a mannequin shaped bottle to deliver her fragrance that represents her iconic look.
The fragrance is a combination of delicious fruity scents. A mix of delicate pink petals, hints of vanilla, skin musks and woods all team together to create a distinctive and summery scent. Along with this perfume, the star has also created a sparkling body lotion and hair mist to add an extra touch of glitter to the daily beauty routine.
Along with the mannequin shaped bottles, Nicki Minaj has created five outfits to fit each bottle, known as “Couture by Minaj”. There are only a limited amount of these outfits available in all Selfridges stores and if you are among the first to purchase your Pink Friday fragrance you will receive one of these exclusive outfits.
Selfridges celebrated the launch of her fragrance at their flagship store in Oxford Circus where fans gathered to be the first to get their hands on the star’s exciting new range. The fans, collectively known as “barbz” came along in Nicki Minaj inspired outfits, demonstrating the artist’s influence throughout the fashion and beauty scene within the U.K.
