Characters Modern Family captured in a nail polish
Nicole by OPI launched 14 new shades of nail polish based on the prizewinning television show Modern Family. Just like the characters on this American show, the used colour palette is unique and diverse. Each family has its own colour palette and with names like Stand By Your Manny and What’s The Mitch-uation it’s obvious which colour belongs to whom.
The new collection offers a nail polish for everyone, from the glittery stars nail polish for little girls (She’s Lily Something) to the chic pink nail polish (I Do De-Claire!). So whether you want to go for a pastel look or a more vibrant party look: you can go all sorts of ways with the Modern Family collection. It’s just like the cast in Modern Family, which includes a variety of personalities like the sexy and dominant Gloria, the traditional Claire and the bourgeois gay couple Mitchell and Cameron. The different colours do have their spring feeling in common, which would come in handy by the time the long-awaited sun will arrive.
It isn’t the first time that Nicole by OPI involves Hollywood in the creation of a new nail polish collection. Recently the brand teamed up with the Kardashians, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez. While creating a new collection of shades, OPI has a good feeling on how to let these icons of contemporary Hollywood shine trough. In the case of Modern Family, the funniest broadcasted family at the moment, they have even seemed to put the element of humour into the collection.

As from this week, seven shades from the Modern Family collection will be available in the UK. One of the retailers will be Superdrug.
