Liberty London is getting creative with the world’s first live all-over print specialist, Yr, for ten days of imagination, design and creation. From Thursday 24th October to Saturday 2nd of November 2013, the luxury department store is opening its doors and inviting customers for some design activity. Together, Liberty and Yr will be hosting sessions of unique interactive workshops and personal appearances, all part of the store’s Get Creative campaign.

YrLiberty2 copyManaging director, Ed Burstell, commented on the event, saying: “This season we wanted our customers to be part of the magic and Get Creative.”

YrLiberty copyThroughout the campaign, Liberty’s partnership with Yr will help customers design and create their own t-shirts, using computer tablets and exclusive Yr technology. Budding fashion lovers and design enthusiasts will be able to make their visualisation a reality by printing their personal designs onto garments and wearing them within minutes. Here customers get a taste of what it’s like to be a designer for a day, by joining in the creative process and seeing the spectacular results.

YrLibertyteeLiberty will also be teaming up with many other household designers and makers, in aid of the Get Creative campaign. Some other acclaimed names include Annina Vogel, Stella McCartney, Grenson, Alex Monroe, Carolina Bucci and Bernstock Spiers.

“There’s something for everyone with events taking place on every floor from fashion and jewellery to haberdashery and home ware,” says Ed Burstell.

This event is sure to excite Liberty customers. Ed Burstell said: “We hope everyone will get involved and take the opportunity to learn and make something wonderful.” Here Liberty encourages you to come along and “Get Creative”.
