Lulu Kennedy creates capsule collection for Marks & Spencer

Lulu Kennedy creates capsule collection for Marks & Spencer

Labelled by press as the “Fairy Godmother of British fashion”, Lulu is certainly setting the bar high. As if being editor-at-large of LOVE magazine, founder and director at Fashion East and running clothing brand Lulu & Co. wasn’t enough already, Lulu Kennedy has donned the designer hat again and launched a capsule Indigo collection with M&S – her second collaboration with the high street store.

The collection is heavily inspired by Lulu’s personal style and her love for travel which comes from spending her childhood on the hippy trails between Devon, Ibiza and Sicily. It is primarily holiday attire, with Aztec prints mixed in with a few pretty white pieces and denim wardrobe staples.

Lulu revealed: “I didn’t want it to just be a holiday collection. I had in the back of my mind that I didn’t want it to be indulgent and just about the clothes I’d wear, I wanted it to be broader – easy pieces that can go into your wardrobe”.
