Liam Gallagher – Knebworth 22 is the documentary cinema release following the frontman of iconic 90s band Oasis as he returns to the scene of the band’s greatest triumph, Knebworth, as a solo artist. The film explores the build-up to the massive pair of gigs and explores the cultural importance of the event post-lockdown through the eyes of the fans and Gallagher himself.

The Upcoming had the pleasure of speaking with director Toby L who shared the context of his new release, his relationship with Gallagher and why being prohibited from using Oasis tracks in the film was to its benefit.

Liam Gallagher – Knebworth 22 is released in select cinemas on 17th November 2022.
