A Braccetto: new captivating modern trattoria opening in Earl’s Court

On 18th March, Earl’s Court will welcome A Braccetto, a modern trattoria set to redefine Italian casual dining in West London. Located just a short walk from the station, this friendly eatery is designed to captivate with its contemporary yet straightforward approach to traditional Italian cuisine. A Braccetto will offer a concise, expertly curated selection of dishes, featuring highlights such as Pizza alla Romana and freshly made pasta.

Derived from the Italian expression for ‘arm-in-arm’ or ‘side-by-side’, A Braccetto aims to foster a sense of community and inclusivity, illustrated through its menus which depict Orso, a Marsican bear, and Lupo, a wolf representing Rome, in a joyful dance. The restaurant’s ethos of relaxed and thoughtful dining is embodied in its dining counter, a shared table encouraging the coming together of friends and family over a meal that celebrates the fusion of regional Italian crafts, using the finest ingredients sourced from respected British and Italian suppliers.

At the heart of A Braccetto’s menu is the signature Pizza alla Romana, known for its thin, crispy base made from organic Italian flours and slow-risen for over 24 hours. Diners can look forward to trying La Classica, adorned with hand-shaped D.O.P. Buffalo mozzarella, and La Marittima, topped with Sicilian anchovies, red onion, and sun-blushed tomatoes. The menu also features a variety of other standout dishes, including organic Cerignola Olives from Tuscany, a rotating selection of charcuterie and bruschetta, alongside hand-crafted pasta dishes like Orecchiette Cime di Rapa.

Moreover, the trattoria will offer an array of second courses and desserts, such as Beef Sirloin Tagliata served with a rocket and parmesan salad, Lime Leaf Panna Cotta, and the must-try Tiramisu della Casa. These can be enjoyed with traditional Italian cocktails, Birra Moretti, and a choice of organic wines. With seating for 62 inside and an additional 8 on the sunny terrace, A Braccetto aims to be a welcoming spot from lunchtime until late evening.
