The Kimpton Fitzroy London, a landmark hotel known for its refined combination of historic charm and modern luxury, has recently announced the opening of Fitz’s Russell Sq., the brand’s new dining concept designed to delight epicureans and casual diners alike. Situated within the heart of the Grade II-listed property, this latest addition to the hotel’s culinary offerings features a brasserie, a parlour, and the existing Fitz’s Bar.

Fitz’s Brasserie invites patrons to embark on a gastronomic journey paying homage to British cuisine with refreshing twists. The menu, crafted by esteemed chefs, showcases a fusion of seasonal British ingredients and innovative techniques. Highlights include Seared Scallops with ‘nduja Butter, Oxfordshire Lamb Ramp with a variety of accompaniments, and a selection of sophisticated vegetarian options.

For those seeking a more intimate dining experience, Fitz’s Brasserie also offers private dining rooms, combining traditional elegance with modern design. These spaces are ideal for hosting special occasions, offering natural light and a bespoke menu to suit every event.

Fitz’s Parlour provides a more casual alternative where no reservations are required. Guests can enjoy the cosy ambience, adorned with 18th-century stained-glass window and a mural by Italian contemporary artist, 2501. Overlooking the picturesque Guildford Street and Russell Square, it’s a perfect spot for a relaxed breakfast or a pre-dinner drink.

Completing the experience, Fitz’s Bar remains a destination for those desiring a luxurious nightcap. Within the setting of a sumptuous décor, the cocktail menu The Theory Of Colour is inspired by 17th-century still life flower paintings of the artist Nicolaes van Verendeal.

Gareth Walsh, General Manager of Kimpton Fitzroy London, commented “The unveiling of Fitz’s Russell Sq. marks a significant moment for us, blending the hotel’s timeless elegance with a modern flair. It reflects our commitment to creating unforgettable experiences that resonate with the spirit of Bloomsbury’s past and present.”

Opened in 2018, Kimpton Fitzroy London occupies a prime location along the eastern side of Russell Square. Designed by Charles Fitzroy Doll in 1898, the hotel boasts 334 bedrooms and suites, offering a mix of Victorian elegance and contemporary amenities. As the flagship European location for Kimpton Hotels & Resorts, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts, it is celebrated for its thoughtful amenities, bold design, and personalized service.
