Metropolis London opens under historic railway arches as a new culinary and entertainment hub

Metropolis London, a new culinary and entertainment destination, has recently launched in the iconic railway arches of Albert Embankment, Vauxhall. This innovative venue, occupying a vast 8,000 square feet area, is promising to become a staple in London’s vibrant street food scene, offering a diverse range of global cuisines and a packed schedule of live entertainment.

Metropolis London aims to blend the industrial charm of its location with the bustling atmosphere of New York City. The venue’s design features exposed brickwork, neon lighting, and bespoke graffiti art by Guneit Kaur Dhillon, creating a dynamic space that captures the essence of urban street food culture.

Open every day from 11 am until late, Metropolis London invites patrons to explore its extensive selection of food stalls, ranging from Neapolitan pizzas at Fresco Trattoria Pizzeria and Filipino delicacies at Kusina, to Uzbekistan dumplings at OshPaz and original sandwiches at the award-winning Sexy Buns. For those with a sweet tooth, Gelato Lab presents a varied list of ice cream flavours, while Nuttea provides refreshing mylk fruit teas.

The venue also caters to early risers, with a coffee and pastries cart available from 7 am on its alfresco terrace, making it an ideal spot for a pre-work breakfast or a remote working location. Moreover, Metropolis London sets itself apart with an entertainment arch featuring a central stage for live performances, including music, comedy, cabaret, and cooking masterclasses, ensuring a vibrant atmosphere all year round.

Sports enthusiasts can look forward to watching major events such as The Euros, Wimbledon, and rugby and cricket fixtures on the venue’s numerous indoor and outdoor screens. Additionally, the 15-meter bar offers a selection of signature cocktails, such as 007 and The Metropolitana, wines, craft beers, and Pure Ionic Water™.

Located at 72-73 Albert Embankment, Metropolis London is a vibrant community space designed to cater to a wide range of tastes and interests.
