North London welcomes Lock Inn Camden as its latest pub and music venue
In the bustling heart of North London, a new pub has opened its doors, promising an amalgamation of great music, vibrant atmosphere, and a diverse selection of drinks. Lock Inn Camden, located on Jamestown Road near Camden Lock, is the latest addition to the city’s pub scene, for both daytime relaxation and nighttime revelry.
The pub, which boasts a retro-inspired interior across its two floors, welcomes guests from midday to midnight during the week, extending its hours till 1:30 am on Fridays and Saturdays. Its ground floor is designed to transform into a late-night party venue, with vinyl DJs playing a range of tunes to keep the energy up and the crowd moving.
Lock Inn Camden’s menu features a range of options, from classic pub dishes to more contemporary small plates. Highlights include North Atlantic craft ale IPA Beer-Battered Fish with chunky chips, Chicken Shish with pilaf rice, Organic Popcorn Chicken, Tomato, Basil and Manchego Croquettes, and for the more adventurous, fiery Chicken Wings with a blue cheese dip. The weekend concludes with a traditional Sunday roast, offering 28-day Hung Dexter Sirloin Beef or Free-Range Chicken, accompanied by homemade Yorkshire Pudding and seasonal vegetables.
The drink selection at Lock Inn Camden is equally broad, comprising its own-brewed craft lager and handmade spirits such as Apricot Brandy, Blueberry & Maple Bourbon, and even Marmite Vodka. The cocktail menu includes creations the likes of the Tiki-Tango, prepared with mango vodka, cherry rum, pineapple and lime juice topped with lemongrass syrup and ginger ale, and The Tempest, blending wild berry pink gin, black raspberry liqueur, raspberry and blackberry fruit, lime, and mint.
