The Dorchester hotel teams up with Wild Idol for an alcohol-free summer experience

The Dorchester Hotel in London has teamed up with premium alcohol-free sparkling wine brand, Wild Idol, to offer guests a special alfresco experience this summer. From May 1st until September 30th, 2024, visitors to The Dorchester Garden can enjoy a sophisticated, alcohol-free experience amidst the hotel’s picturesque setting next to Hyde Park.

The partnership aims to cater to the growing demand for premium alcohol-free alternatives, presenting visitors the opportunity to indulge in Wild Idol’s White and Rosé sparkling wines, alongside a selection of bespoke cocktails. These include a vibrant Spritz and a refreshing Sgroppino, enhanced with The Dorchester’s homemade elderflower sorbet, crafted by the skilled team at The Dorchester’s Vesper Bar.

Adding to the experience, an adapted version of The Dorchester’s renowned afternoon tea will be available, featuring a personalised Wild Idol cake inspired by the summer fruit notes of Wild Idol, designed by the hotel’s patisserie team.

Paul Beavis, CEO of Wild Idol, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration. He said: “Alcohol-free spritz-based drinks continue to appeal to consumers in the summer months and beyond. With a rising number of people choosing to moderate or abstain from alcohol, the demand for premium alternatives is soaring. Through our collaboration with The Dorchester, guests can enjoy a refreshing alternative to alcohol at this iconic London location, without compromising on taste or style.”

Richard Newell, Director of Food & Beverage at The Dorchester, also shared his excitement for the initiative, commenting “we are ready to welcome the summer season at The Dorchester with a number of activations throughout the hotel, and look forward to welcoming guests to this special alfresco terrace in partnership with Wild Idol.”

Wild Idol stands out in the market for its vegan, gluten-free, and naturally alcohol-free sparkling wines, crafted using the finest winemaking techniques without the process of alcohol extraction.
