Dishoom to unveil new menu at exclusive supper club series in September 2024

Dishoom, the popular UK-based restaurant chain, is launching a new menu through an exclusive supper club series from September 25th to 27th, 2024. The event, which marks the first of its kind for the restaurant since its inception in 2010, will be held at a yet-to-be-disclosed location in SW9, from 7pm onwards.

Known for its innovative approach to traditional Bombay cuisine, Dishoom has attracted food enthusiasts with its offerings. The upcoming series will introduce attendees to new recipes and cocktail creations, curated by Dishoom’s co-founders Shamil and Kavi Thakrar, along with Executive Chef Arun Tilak. The trio plans to provide guests with insights into the inspirations and stories behind the new menu items, emphasising the evolution of Dishoom’s culinary journey.

The supper club is priced at £70 per person, which includes a welcoming glass of bubbles followed by a five-course meal, between fresh recipes and updated dishes, accompanied by drinks. Each course is designed to celebrate and reinterpret the rich culinary heritage of Bombay, reflecting the city’s dynamic and ever-changing food landscape.

Prospective attendees must enter a ballot to secure a spot at this exclusive event. The ballot opens on September 2nd, with Dishoom announcing the winners via email on September 11th. Those selected will have 24 hours to purchase their tickets, after which further details regarding the event’s timings and specific location will be provided. Any unclaimed tickets will be redrawn on 12th September at 12pm.

Dishoom’s approach to the event underscores their commitment to both innovation in their menu and an engaging dining experience. As the restaurant continues to expand its footprint in the UK dining scene, such initiatives highlight Dishoom’s ongoing efforts to blend cultural authenticity with contemporary tastes.
