Slurp Noodles and Dang’s Cocktail Bar introduce Thai-inspired Christmas menu

In the lead-up to the festive celebrations, Slurp Noodles and Dang’s Cocktail Bar in Spitalfields, London, are launching a Thai-inspired Christmas menu. With the aim to evoke the bustling streets of Bangkok through both the food and the atmosphere, the venues provide an alternative to the usual holiday fare with a range of Thai dishes and bespoke cocktails.

Slurp Noodles, known for its concept paying homage to Thailand’s street food, proposes a festive list of dishes which includes Stewed Chicken Noodle Soup, deep fried chicken thighs marinated in coriander and white pepper, Peppery Pork Noodle Soup (kuaijab), and a hearty Five-spice Noodle Soup, consisting of a rich and aromatic silk road spiced pork broth with rice noodles, among others. These newly launched options are inspired by family recipes and are designed to offer a comforting yet exotic dining during the chilly London winter.

Located in the basement of Slurp Spitalfields, Dang’s Cocktail Bar presents an inviting setting with its circular bar and vibrant red and orange decor. The bar, which stays open until 1 am from Wednesday to Saturday, serves a variety of tipples, traditional sake, and a selection of wines and beers. Among the drink highlights there are the Banana Hibiki, Honey Thai Tea, Taro Ramos, and Yuzu You.

However, Slurp Noodles doesn’t cater only for lunch and dinners: exclusively available through Deliveroo, the restaurant offers as well a Thai Breakfast. This service allows customers to enjoy a range of breakfast dishes from the comfort of their own homes, including Thai Rice Soup with Sea Bass, Prawn and Pork Dumplings, Roast Red Pork Bun, and Thai Omelette.

Just a short walk from Spitalfields Market, Slurp Noodles and Dang’s offering brings a taste of Southeast Asia to the heart of East London.
