Bottega 35 to bring Tuscan flavours to Kensington High Street

Tuscan-inspired restaurant, Bottega 35, will open at 35 Kensington High Street on the first of September 2025, replacing the Latin American eatery Zuaya, which closed on 18th August after eight years in the same location. The new venture, led by Emerald Hospitality Group, will offer a menu featuring hand-rolled pasta, wood-fired grilled meats, and a selection of Italian wines. To mark its launch, Bottega 35 will offer a 30% discount on all food and drinks throughout September.
Emerald Hospitality Group, founded by twin brothers Alberto and Arian Zandi, has a portfolio of themed restaurants across London, including Como Garden, El Norte, and Riviera. The group has stated that Bottega 35 is intended to reflect the culinary traditions of Tuscany, with a focus on hearty dishes and a relaxed yet refined dining atmosphere.
Menu offerings at Bottega 35 will include Pappardelle Ragù, Mafaldine tossed in a pecorino cheese wheel with truffle, Pumpkin Risotto, and grilled options such as Dry-aged Ribeye and Lamb Chops Abbacchio alla Griglia. Seafood dishes like Tagliolini with Mixed Seafood, Seabass Acqua Pazza, and Grilled Squid Salmoriglio will also be in the list, alongside desserts such as Tiramisu served at the table, Torta Susanna, and classic Cannoli.
The restaurant’s interior has been redesigned to evoke a Tuscan warmth and aims to cater to a wide range of occasions, from midweek lunches to celebratory dinners.
Alberto Zandi, Co-Founder at Emerald Hospitality Group, said: “Zuaya was our first home and the start of everything for us. Eight years on, we’re bringing something new to the neighbourhood with Bottega 35: Tuscan food cooked with heart, poured with great wine, and delivered with that same warm hospitality Kensington knows us for.”
Arian Zandi added: “Kensington has supported us from day one. Bottega 35 is our way of saying grazie mille, familiar flavours done exceptionally well, alongside new signature dishes we hope will become local favourites. September is the perfect time to try it all with 30% off during our soft opening.”
Though Zuaya has closed its doors in London, the brand is expected to relaunch internationally in Luxembourg, with further details yet to be announced.
