The island of Aruba is one of the most stunning destinations in the Caribbean. Renowned for its natural beauty and dramatic landscapes, as well as its golden sandy beaches, the island attracts thousands upon thousands of tourists all year round. If you’re planning your next summer vacation with the family, or perhaps just a short break with your other half, then keep in mind the following attractions Aruba has to offer.

Arikok National Park

With almost 20% of the entire island afforded National Park status, it comes as no surprise to find that ramblers flock to Aruba in droves to explore the majestic landscape. The iconic Arikok Park covers almost 8,000 acres of beautifully preserved vegetation and adventure lovers will find numerous trails and special hiking tours on offer during all seasons. If you prefer to relax a little more, but still want to indulge the island’s aesthetic glories, then of course you can hire a car, bike or even horse.

Bubali Bird Sanctuary

If you ‘d like to get up close and personal with some of the Island’s feathered inhabitants then make your way over to the award-winning Bubali Bird Sanctuary. With over 80 species of birds on show the sanctuary can be found within walking distance of the Palm Beach resort-a perfect activity for all the family to enjoy.
