Rebecca Hall interview on Christine: I was terrified to take the role

Christine tells the story of Christine Chubbuck, an American news reporter who one day in 1974 committed suicide on live TV. We spoke to Rebecca Hall, who plays Chubbuck, about how she prepared to play such a difficult role, how making the film has changed the way she looks at modern-day news reporting and about what it means for an actor or actress to empathise with a character like Christine. She also spoke about her role in Etan Cohen’s upcoming comedy Holmes and Watson starring Will Ferrell, John C Reilly, Ralph Fiennes and Hugh Laurie.
