“I hope the people that really are keeping us safe are exactly like this”: Kristen Scott Thomas and Jack Lowden on Slow Horses season two

“I hope the people that really are keeping us safe are exactly like this”: Kristen Scott Thomas and Jack Lowden on Slow Horses season two

Everyone’s favourite acerbic, washed-up spy is back: season two of Slow Horses has Gary Oldman’s Jackson Lamb and his team of reprobate intelligence officers trundling on in their work from Slough House, the purgatory of British spies whose past missteps have exiled them from the frontline and relegated them to the dark and dirty, but necessary work no one else wants to do. Viewers can expect more hilariously brutal insults from the slobbish but ultimately brilliant and loyal leader, bickering and boasting between the big personalities lumped together in the oppressively decaying offices, and more thriller-infused espionage intrigue lifted from Mick Herron’s wildly popular books.

The Upcoming had the privilege of chatting with Kristin Scott Thomas and Jack Lowden about returning to their characters and working with the legend that is Oldman.

We also heard from series stars Dustin Demri-Burns, Rosalind Eleazar and Christopher Chung about what viewers can expect from season two.
