“My children’s stories inspired our show’s premise”: Barry Levy, Lucian River and Abigail Pniovsky on Me

Me tells a brand-new superhero story of a 12-year-old Ben (Lucian River), who suddenly discovers he possesses some exciting superpowers. Throughout the ten-episode first season, the show’s protagonist, with the help of his supportive sister, goes on a journey of self-discovery. Ben will realise that having new skills is also a huge responsibility.

The Upcoming had the pleasure of speaking to the two lead actors, River and Abigail Pniovsky, who shared their journey and described how they prepared to embark on this superhero adventure.

We also chatted with Barry Levy, the show’s creator and main producer, who told us how he came up with the original idea for this coming-of-age superhero story.
