Peccadillo Pictures sets UK release date for psychological thriller Blue Film

Peccadillo Pictures has announced that Elliot Tuttle’s psychological thriller Blue Film will be released in UK and Irish cinemas on 25^th September.

Written and directed by Tuttle, the film stars Tony Award winner Reed Birney (Mass) and Kieron Moore (Masters of the Air, Boots) in a tense two-hander that premiered at the Edinburgh International Film Festival.

Moore plays Aaron, a fetish camboy who accepts an offer of $50,000 to meet a mysterious client. Expecting a straightforward encounter, he instead finds himself face-to-face with a masked stranger (Birney) armed with a camera and a series of increasingly probing questions. When the man reveals a disturbing connection to Aaron’s past, the meeting spirals into a psychological confrontation as both are forced to confront the identities they have carefully constructed.

Premiering at the Edinburgh International Film Festival, Blue Film marks Tuttle’s latest feature and pairs Birney with Moore in an intimate chamber drama that gradually peels back the layers of its two central characters.
