Prime Video unveils trailer for Novak Djokovic documentary The Wolf in Winter

Prime Video has released the official trailer for Novak Djokovic: The Wolf in Winter, a new feature-length documentary exploring the life and career of the record-breaking tennis champion.

Premiering on 20^th August, the film is directed by Jason Hehir, the Emmy-winning filmmaker behind The Last Dance, and traces Djokovic’s rise from war-torn Serbia to becoming the most successful men’s singles player in tennis history.

With exclusive behind-the-scenes access, the documentary follows Djokovic both on and off the court, capturing his preparations for major tournaments alongside quieter moments with his family. It also examines the pressures that have accompanied his remarkable success, exploring how he became one of the sport’s most decorated – and often most divisive – figures.

Alongside interviews with Djokovic and his wife, Jelena, the film features contributions from some of tennis’s biggest names, including Rafael Nadal, Andre Agassi, Pete Sampras, Boris Becker and Jim Courier, as well as journalists and commentators who reflect on his legacy and place in the modern game.

The newly released trailer offers a first glimpse of the documentary’s blend of archive footage, personal testimony and behind-the-scenes access, charting the journey of a player whose career has redefined the men’s game over the past two decades.
