Declare your love with Love Letters Straight From Your Heart

Declare your love with Love Letters Straight From Your Heart | Theatre review

Surprise your beloved one before Valentine’s Day with an early declaration of love. Created by theatre company Uninvited Guests, Love Letters Straight From Your Heart blurs the line between audience and performers and offers an atypical interactive experience.

Prior to the show the audience will choose the song they want the performers to play and write about the person they love. More similar to an intimate gathering than a typical performance, the 40 members of the audience are seated at two long tables, mimicking the set-up of a wedding reception. Cava is served, declarations are delivered and the bride and groom turn into rival DJs playing pop songs selected by the audience prior to the show.

No two performances are alike, however audience members are highly encouraged to email info@uninvited-guests.net with the name of a song and their personal dedication at least three days before the day of the show. Romantic gestures or signs of friendship that go overlooked in the hustle and bustle of daily life are encouraged to be shared in this unique performance.

With reviews from Time Out and The Guardian declaring the play to be “an astonishing tear jerker”, and claiming, “you can’t help but fall in love with it”, this show is sure to make you laugh, cry and fall in love all over again.
