Lady Leshurr performs at the Roundhouse in Camden

Lady Leshurr performs at the Roundhouse in Camden | Live review

Lady Leshurr, the popular UK female MC played an intimate gig at the Roundhouse in Camden on Monday evening, accompanied by her band, The Rasites. She treated the crowd to exclusive new material as well as playing recognisable favourites such as In and Up and the viciously brilliant Look At Me Now Freestyle.

Lady Leshurr has already been presented with The Official Mixtape Award (Best Female Artist) and she was also short-listed for a Casio/G Shock Award.

At just 23 years old, it is clear Lady Leshurr has made a name for herself with these awards under her belt. Critics in the music industry have compared her to a female version of Busta Rhymes and the next answer to Nicki Minaj. This impression shone through as feisty Leshurr took to the stage and shook the venue with her partly spoken, partly sung word play.

Lady Leshurr is not somebody we really need to make a point of telling you to watch out for:  she is already becoming well-established within the industry with her brave fearless lyrics, unique style and energetic stage presence.
