Met Gala 2017: Celebrity beautyFashion & LifestyleBeauty
The Met Gala is fashion’s biggest night put! As usual this year was a star-studded event that called the biggest names in pop culture to descend on to the red carpet and bring their fashion and beauty A-game. This year’s theme paid homage to Rei Kawakubo and Comme des Garçons, meaning that attendees had full creative reign to play around with looks that may not be traditionally seen on most red carpets. In terms of beauty, the hair and make-up showcased on the night was just as striking as the fashion.
Here are our favourite celebrity beauty looks from the Met Gala 2017:
All eyes were on Rihanna as she wowed the red carpet and nailed this year’s Comme des Garçons theme. She stepped out wearing a vibrant blush and eye shadow to finish off her avant-garde look
Cara Delevingne pulled off futuristic vibes with a metallic ensemble at this year’s Met Gala. The model has recently shaved her head in preparation for her movie role in Life in a Year. For the red carpet, she boldly added a twist by painting her head silver and adding a fair amount of Swarovski crystals.
Katy Perry may have been wearing a red veil for the majority of the night, but her dark glitter smouldering eye make-up still managed to captivate.
Zendya’s afro and orange lip combo stole the show on the red carpet. Her lipstick perfectly complimented her tropical inspired Dolce and Gabanna dress.
Kim Kardashian went for a more simplistic style for this year’s Met Gala. However, Kim’s make-up and hair was still as flawless as ever, as she showed off her shoulder length hair cut and dewy bronzed make-up.
With her dark lip shade and metallic eyeshadow, Priyanka Chopra’s beauty style is effortlessly reminiscent of 90s grunge make-up.
Zoe Kravitz looked breathtaking with her newly blonde pixie cut. On the night, she opted for a black cat-eye and soft pink lipstick created by make-up artist Nina Park.
Kendall Jenner donned a classic red lip that she created in collaboration with Estee Lauder. Her wet look achieved an effortless tousled beach wave look.
Rita Ora went for a sculpted platinum pixie cut that was unusual yet fierce all at the same time. In her scarlet dress, she paired her dramatic hair with a striking red lip.
