Davines, thoroughly modern matte for hairstyling

From their For Wizards styling range Davines offer the option of a matte finish for men’s, or for that matter women’s hair styling. Designed purely so you can unleash your creative side, the range allows you to create a multitude of looks with various effects and hold factors using the latest resin technology offering options of styling texture.

Gone are the days of Clark Gable and Fred Astaire when the shiniest of hairstyles were the order of the day. Styling preferences for crown-in-glories now are to have a more natural finish. This requires a Matte styling product and Davines No. 5 – Finishing Paste/Firm Hold & Matte Effect is recommended for all hair types, especially for short styles and fine to medium textures.  For maximum texture, control and definition – with flexibility to mould the style – they combined select waxes and oils to formulate a paste with long-lasting hold and a matte effect. Special resins with a conditioning effect are added to enhance texture without flaking or weighing hair down.

No. 2 Mat Moulding Gresso – Finishing Wax/Extra Firm Hold & Matte Effect was formulated to create strong definition and add maximum texture with a matte finish. A water-soluble wax provides long-lasting hold without weighing hair down, and easily rinses out. It is also infused with a mixture of oils to nourish and condition hair.

Defined by their sustainability vision, Davines proudly present their magnificent high-end professional hair care line. Although in tune with today’s mood, these products are destined to become classics with their timeless appeal.  The collections are divided into four spaces: colour, styling, well-being and shopping. Each product is of high quality and engineered to work and express a distinctive style and spirit.  “Quality” for Davines means having the freedom to create the best products with careful attention to the environment, using high grade, natural ingredients, and applying scientific rigor to every product to guarantee a customer’s safety and satisfaction.
