The magic of cosmetic science from HighTech Cosmetics

The magic of cosmetic science from HighTech Cosmetics

The idea of going under the knife can seem a step too far in the pursuit of beauty, so what better than letting your make-up take the slack and work hard on your behalf?

Famed for the high-performance ingredients found in their skin-care range, HighTech Cosmetics believe that environmental stress and poor diet are contributing factors to premature ageing and keeping hydration, elasticity, comfort and smoothness of the skin are all essential.

Keeping those principles in mind, the Italian brand with Swiss lab technology have gone further and created ranges for the eyes and lips. For the eyes HighTech Cosmetics offer two mascaras, one for volume and one for extension, both encouraging lash growth. They contain Musol 20, which maintains protein and hydration, Crodasone W for keratin and amino acids and a Bioenergizer, which contains two seaweeds that encourages growth. Both mascaras come in a pure black pigment.

The Instant Volume Lip Filler is a lipstick that comes in eight luminous shades with a shiny consistency that lasts six hours. Within the formula you have Hyaluronic Spheres that release Nanovectors Plump HYA, an acid that adds volume gradually, and Cupuacu butter that restores the lipid barrier.

With science all the way from the country that brought you the Large Hadron Collider you will be hard pushed to find a more cutting-edge formulation for your make-up bag.

Pick up one of their pieces from Harvey Nicols, or see the whole range here.
