The sweet life with Melvita’s Rose Hydration system

The sweet life with Melvita’s Rose Hydration system

Melvita – from the Latin honey and life – presents its unique Rose Hydration collection. Well-known for being a leading organic brand in France, brought to life by beekeeper and biologist Bernard Chevilliat, Melvita now has stores across Europe and the world, winning awards for its Youthful Skin Cream and Argan oil.

From their in-house research and development lab, they have harnessed the power of five active rose ingredients (hundred-petalled rose, rose hip oil, rose seed milk, rose essential oil and rose enfleurage) uniquely brought together to stimulate and deeply hydrate the skin, promoting a radiant complexion. Focusing on retaining as much water in the skin as possible, the collection works in three ways: firstly, providing rose water to the upper layer of the epidermis; secondly, it locks in moisture by maintaining a hydrolipidic film and finally, with the wild rose extract distributing moisture to stimulate synthesis, so that moisture can be carried to the heart of cells.

The Fresh Micellar Water collection has a three-in-one formula that cleanses, removes make-up and tones in one step. Fresh Cleansing Milk offers a light lotion taking away traces of make-up and impurities to relieve tightness and keep the skin supple. For the summer, the Replenishing Facial Gel will lightly moisturise normal to combination skin, leaving a matte complexion. For normal to dehydrated skin, Moisturising Rose Nectar will stimulate circulation with rose bud extract, so your complexion appears nourished.

Fresh Micellar Water and Fresh Cleansing Milk £14.50, Replenishing Facial Gel and Moisturising Rose Nectar £24. Available from Melvita stores, John Lewis and Wholefoods.
