Celebrate the difference with Civil clothing

Celebrate the difference with Civil clothing

LA-based brand Civil clothing must be one of the coolest and most contemporary brands out there at the minute. With an assorted mix of casual clothes for both genders, it’s a wonder you haven’t stumbled across them before.

Civil clothing believes in celebrating the difference between individuals and emphasising the fact that everyone is unique. It also recognises and values the diversity and cultural multiplicities of others and encourages the almost limitless possibilities there are; this is part of their celebration.

The pieces are fresh and crisp, but their overall style is hard to pin-point. This is mainly because the garments are as diverse as the customer; there is something to cater to each individual. Whether it’s a leopard print collar, buttoned-up shirt or tank and crop-tops smothered in peace signs and crucifixes, there is bound to be something you adore from their collections.

Print designs are similar, if not the same, for both genders and most pieces could work as being unisex. The themes reminiscent of Nirvana and bikers are apparent in the more grungy pieces from Civil. On the other hand, there are more preppy look garments and feminine, sophisticated detailing to other garments. It really is an assortment of on-trend pieces that just scream youth and difference.

Although based in LA, there are stockists worldwide that have Civil clothing, including Urban Outfitters being the one for us here in the UK.

Civil clothing has managed to evolve since their launch in 2009 whilst still sticking to their message of celebrating the difference. View and shop their collection here.
