Would you wear Heel Condoms?

Would you wear Heel Condoms?

If we said the word “condom” to you, what would you think of? Men? Love? A flimsy piece of latex? What if we said to you that they reminded us of stilettos, would you believe us then? Probably not, but by the end of this article, condoms and shoes will immediately make sense.

Thanks to Puerto Rican businesswoman Sandrysabel Ortiz and her label, Heel Condoms, a wardrobe full of quirky, fashionable heels at an affordable price, has now been made possible. A slip-on product, the condoms for heels come in a variety of styles and colours, allowing the plainest of black heels to stand out in nude chiffon bows and fuchsia feathers. There’s even the bonus of the condoms providing protection from damage, wear and tear.

There are two different styles of accessory provided by this brand, entitled the Condom and the Panty. The Condom Style (reminiscent of Gangnam Style, anyone?), is the original of the two, and adorns the heel part of the shoe by fitting thinner heels that are between 2-5 inches in length. Current designs for this style include a white lace condom with miniature flowers, as well as a black suede fabric decorated with gold buttons.

On the other hand, the Panty Style is the evolution. Similar to the Condom Style, the only difference is that the Panty fits all types of heel, from small to large, and from slim to chunky. Decorations for the Panty currently consist of a chiffon fuchsia flower and a turquoise suede piece with blue beads.

After all, Sandrysabel rightly said: “If we dress up, why not dress up our shoes?”
