Every woman wants long, luscious lashes, but with so many mascaras to choose from what mascaras give the best results? Here at The Upcoming we have put mascaras to the test – we are not only judging them on their quality but also on their price. Screen Shot 2013-05-16 at 22.45.02

Rimmel London’s Volume Flash Scandaleyes Lycra Mascara, (£4.99)

The mascara’s unique brush allows you to keep building layers onto your lashes without the mascara going clumpy. This mascara is perfect for making your eyelashes appear thicker for a dramatic look, so if you’re looking for the perfect “event” mascara this is the one for you!

If long lashes are what you’re aiming for, then this mascara will be great for you. It has an exclusive fibre fix brush that uses six contact points to make sure each lash is covered and visibly enhanced. This mascara is a great alternative to false lashes.

Benefit’s They’re real mascara, (£19)

This mascara won UK’s number one best-selling mascara and we can see why! Your lashes are left looking twice as long and twice as thick! It is definitely worth the price of £19, but if you wanted to test the mascara before purchase it also comes in a smaller, cheaper version and it’s also the perfect size for your purse.
