Vest-Store: promoting raw talent

Vest-Store: promoting raw talent

A vest can be quite a boring piece of clothing, but if you combine one with a piece of art then you have something spectacular.

The Vest-Store is a new, exciting brand that was built on a simple idea and a rock and roll ethos. The guys over at Vest-Store work with young and exciting photographers, illustrators and creatives to build a range of exclusive limited edition clothing. What is even more fantastic is that the prints are truly unique as only 100 of each design are turned into a print. Each design that they produce is labelled with a numbered tag along with the artist’s name, design and title, ensuring the garment is truly a limited piece.

What is admirable about Vest-Store is that they encourage raw talent and artists gain exposure via the label. The artists also gain royalties for every garment sold that uses their design.

All the designs are available online but if you’re lucky enough to be heading to Ibiza then you can head to Ocean Beach Boutique where they will be stocking the vests.

This Let’s Kiss vest by Nina Saunders is really cute and would be a great festival piece this summer.

Some of the designs are quite intriguing. For example, this lantern vest looks a bit non-descriptive from a distance but when you get close up you can see it’s a lantern, with the landscape at the bottom; simple, but effective.

Gents, you aren’t left out. If you’re heading away on a lads’ holiday or just a festival you will find some great designs for you as well. This 70s vest or the Ice Baby vest feature some outstanding prints.

If you want your vest to be a talking point then you will love this guts vest. It’s a bit gross, but it will definitely get people talking.

If you’re looking to promote your own art or know someone who wants to get their creativity seen, head over to the Vest-Store’s website. They are always looking for creative talent and it could just be the perfect way to get exposure.
