Renowned make-up brand Shu Uemura will launch its autumn/winter collection this July entitled Eye-conic. The collection marks the 30th anniversary of the brand’s flagship boutique in trendy Omotesando (Tokyo) and pays homage to the vibrant colours and styles of make-up from the 60s. The range has also been inspired by Shu Uemura’s first make-up collection from the 1960s called Flaggy.  Shu-Uemura

The collection features the Tri-Colour Blending Eyeshadow Refill (£22) with two main colour choices accompanied with a glitter element for definition, ranging from green-blue, yellow-brown, purple-coral pink and pink-orange, in psychedelic-inspired patterns.

Other products from the much-anticipated line consist of the Pressed Eye Shadow (£11), which come in an array of vivid colours capturing the retro and bright feeling of the 60s. Other items include the Rouge Unlimited Supreme Matte (£19), fusing matte and pearl highlighter shades for cheeks in five shades.

Also available are the lasting Gel Pencil Eyeliner (£20) containing a 12-hour formula available in both black and brown, and a Duo-Colour Blending Cheek Refill (£22) available in pink and orange. As a memento, they have also created a Retro-Sensation Special Decoration Palette (£10).

No Shu Uemura collection would be complete without a range of their iconic false lashes: Eyelash Pint Fix/Accent (£16) and Tokyo Lash Bar Premium Eyelashes (£35), available in a rainbow graphic and designed by highly esteemed artistic director Kakayasu Uchiide.

The limited edition collection celebrates 30 years of innovation and creativity through the use of vibrant colours and designs.

The collection is priced between £10 and £35, and will be available from July at Shu Uemura counters nationwide and online.
