Browsing Etsy in search of the perfect and unique gem made by some undiscovered designer or artist can sometimes be a fun and thrilling pastime. It can also be, of course, a challenging task that few of us have the luxury of taking on or even hope to ever accomplish.  People with little time on their hands may simply need to rely upon the talent and hard work of creative individuals such as Rachel Drake who recently opened Objets de Désir, a beautiful online boutique that offers a handpicked selection of creations by emerging designers and artists from around the world.

Objets de Désir loves, promotes and sells “all things unique, fun and beautiful,” everything from homeware products and gifts to fashion accessories and jewellery.  The site is well-organised and simple to use, with a refreshingly clean, welcoming and inviting look.  Objets de Désir offers a “Style Ideas” page, and detailed and inspiring information about the work and vision of each individual designer.  The collection is constantly changing and the boutique invites its customers to check out their “New” page, so you can always kept up-to-date with the latest additions to their collection.

We are happy to share here with you some of the “objets” that most delighted us and struck our fancy.  Follow the links below to check out some of the most “unique, fun and beautiful”.
