Shoe-aholics will love High Pheels

Shoe-aholics will love High Pheels

High Pheels (pronounced peels) is an exciting brand that creates interchangeable skins for high heel shoes. It has been a while since we came across a shoe invention that caught our eye, but we think we have found all the innovation we need in this new phenomenon.

134-thickbox_defaultHigh Pheels was created by Anthony Ciccarelli, whose light-bulb idea came about when his girlfriend’s friend came to visit them. Carrying with her a whole suitcase of shoes, as we do, but Ciccarelli thought there must be an easier way. “Why can’t she just have a cover that fits on her shoes and easily change them out?” he thought, and started working on his idea.

78-thickbox_defaultNow he has created the world’s first interchangeable shoe, and although the design is still yet to be perfected, his idea is revolutionary in the fashion world.

91-thickbox_defaultHigh Pheels fit most closed-toe platform pumps and actually increase comfort, without modifying the shoe. You simply slip the cover on and off your shoes as you wish to match an outfit.

110-thickbox_defaultThe covers are actually very varied, from peacock print and newspaper print, to glitter and solid colours. High Pheels have really gone out of their way to create an aesthetic to suit everyone.
