Inject a little bit of fun into your underwear collection with William Wilde

Inject a little bit of fun into your underwear collection with William Wilde

A London based designer and costumier, William Wilde usually specialises in handmade rubber clothing and accessories with an elegant and distinctive edge. In a refreshing change of direction however, William Wilde has recently turned his designing skills towards menswear and his debut underwear collection has just landed.

The collection’s theme is based around boxing and sport with just a hint of camp and flourish thrown in as a nod to the designer’s other collections. The first images of the collection embrace this theme fully with the inclusion of ruby encrusted boxing gear, diamond W’s and glistening red glitter blood.

Consisting of nine styles, William Wilde Does Boys remains distinctive thanks to the use of colourful, printed latex panels. Each panel features an exclusive William Wilde print with designs that range from stars and stripes to logo graffiti and waistbands in red, pink, black and white. Each pair of pants is cut and glued from 100% latex in order to ensure that the quality remains pure.

William Wilde’s debut menswear collection is already enjoying a massive buzz and that’s something that the designer is certainly no stranger to. His previous collections have found favour among celebrities such as Rihanna, Daisy Lowe and Paloma Faith in the past and his debut latex clothing collection made headlines.

It may be his first menswear range, but William Wilde is definitely well on the way to success. With designs that don’t take themselves too seriously and a side order of camp flourish to bring everything up a notch, William Wilde’s debut collection – and any more that he may have in the pipeline – means that he’s definitely destined for big things in the future.
