MAC: what more could you want?

MAC: what more could you want?

There are so many make-up brands to choose from, and so much within all of their ranges, once you think you may have made a decision on the right lipstick, five more are released. However, a strong contender in the lifelong marathon of looking good is definitely MAC, with foolproof make-up that will forever be by your side (and in your make-up bag). Even if there was a horrific beauty disaster and all other brands were eradicated, we’d do just fine with MAC!

The top five must-haves from their collection are:

SPF Primer

SPF is so important to include in every make-up routine despite it being autumn. The skin on your face is extremely delicate, and the harsh UVA and UVB sun rays can penetrate all year round, so cut out the possible build-up of radiation in your skin, and get MAC’s Prep + Prime SPF 50 Primer.

Light pink lipstick

This is a definite must-have; it goes with everything. Evening out – tick, coffee morning – tick, work – tick; even replacing the go-to red for when you want to distract people from your night before – tick. You cannot go wrong.

Bronzer

If you want to keep up the “just got back from holiday” look all year round, then a good quality bronzer is what you need. Not only do they fool people into thinking you have a glamorous jet-set lifestyle, but they also give the illusion that you have mesmerising cheekbones.

Foundation

Now that summer is over, the carefree ways of baring your skin to the sun are drawing to a close, so the need for a good quality foundation is imperative. MAC, the go-to brand for difficult skin tones, covers for all, with 39 shades to choose from.

Nail Lacquer

If the colours of winter are drab, your nails don’t have to be. With a range that resembles a sweet shop, it’s a nail haven.

Converted to having a MAC addiction yet?

The Primer is £23, the Lipstick £15, the Bronzer £20, the Foundation £21.50 and the Nail Lacquer £11.
