Art meets fashion in the collaboration scarf collection with designer Alexander McQueen and artist Damien Hirst. The collection offers 30 unique scarves with the artists’ aesthetic of symmetrical designs – influenced by entomology.

Hirst is known for his art pieces on butterflies, bugs and spidersm and this emerged with McQueen’s skull signature in a kaleidoscope pattern, resulting in a vision of the natural world entwined with the beauty of insects.

The exclusive collection was presented in a pristine fashion film shot be the genius SØLVE SUNDSBØ. The film showed models draped with the scarf resembling the body of a butterfly and the scarf being the wings; eloquent and alive. Damien Hirst is an artist that immerses the audience into his art and makes an impact. This shock factor was elegantly portrayed in this fashion film; it shows the models being engulfed by the art, which looks suffocating albeit fashion and art will forever be in sync.

McQueen and Hirst have a mutual interest in skulls and dark beauty, therefore this collaboration will be a hit for art and fashion lovers. Prices start from £315 for silk twill to £715 for cashmere.
