NYFW – Nautica A/W 2014 collection

The Nautica show at Lincoln Center, New York was one of the hottest tickets at New York Fashion Week. The brand showcased thick parkas, stylish bomber jackets and chic headwear at their autumn/winter 2014 show.

Ski-wear was a keen theme throughout the show with a mixture of materials including thermal padding and heavy leather. Whilst designing outerwear, the brand managed to stay tailored as the pieces were fitted and weren’t oversized- as most winter coats are.

Nautica makes the colder months look exciting by experimenting with a pop of colour, printed designs and unique cuts. Having a statement winter coat for fall is much more accessible thanks to Nautica.

The American brand also designed slimmer snow-boots that can be wearable every day. We predict this will become a streetwear trend for A/W 2014 as it’s both stylish and practical.
