Pro-Direct launches world’s largest boot room in London
Last week sportswear giants Pro-Direct opened the world’s largest boot room in Carnaby Street, London.
The space is dynamic and stretches across two floors with walls littered with enormous display screens. It truly is a powerful combination of the commercial high-street store and the wildly futuristic technology haven. Touch screen podiums for customers to scroll through a never-ending range of football boots? For some blokes, that just books up Saturday afternoon.
Featuring every sport supreme brand under the sun, customers can also try, buy and take home their chosen boots from the trending selection, including brands such as adidas, Puma, Mizuno, Umbro and, of course, Nike. Though the abundance of neon lighting and high-tech digital mannequins are rather overwhelming, it cannot be denied that this is a place of football expertise, turning the football boot shopping experience into a whole new ball game.
Pro-Direct have successfully combined retail and e-tail experiences, giving their products that instantaneous nature that the digital market brings, but in person. They put together a brilliant launch and the Carnaby Street store was brimming with curious fashionistas and sport fanatics.
