New releases from the world of tech in 2015: Apple, Samsung and Microsoft

The world of technology is such a fast moving one these days that it seems impossible to keep up with all of the different devices and gadgets that have been or are set to be released. Over the past few years, we have seen some great new gadgets being released from manufacturers and countries around the world, and it seems that 2015 is going to be yet another exciting year for tech fans that are eager to see what else the industry has to offer.

From super slim smartphones that are ideal for everything from browsing the Internet to trading stocks, through to high tech tablets that come with a range of features, we have already seen a wide variety of great devices and gadgets released over the past few years. It is therefore little wonder that the tech community is waiting with bated breath to see what will be coming onto the market over the coming year.

Some of the devices and gadgets for 2015

There are a number of devices that have already been released by tech giants during the first few months of the year while many others are still set for release. Some of the soon-to-be released products for this year include:

Microsoft Lumia 640XL: Earlier this year at Mobile World Congress, Microsoft introduced the world to two new smartphone models that are scheduled to be released this coming summer. The two phones are the Microsoft Lumia 640 and the Lumia 640XL. The XL version will come with a display screen of 5.7 inches, making it perfect for those looking for larger devices.

Moto X (third generation): Motorola has already announced that it is set to release its third generation Moto X this year, although an exact date hasn’t been confirmed as yet. Most believe, however, that it is likely to be around September, as this is when the company has traditionally released products in past years.

Apple Watch 2: For those who want the convenience of what is essentially a wearable computer, the Apple Watch 2 could be the ideal solution. Expected to be far more high tech and with more features than its predecessor, it is thought that Apple will be announcing the release of the watch in around autumn 2015.

Samsung UHD Blu-Ray Player: Korean tech giant, Samsung, will be offering a must-have device for fans of TV entertainment later this year with the announcement that it will be releasing its first UHD Blu-Ray player towards the end of the year. With the ultra HD experience, viewers will be able to look forward to an enhanced entertainment experience when watching Blu-Ray.

These are just a handful of the various devices that are scheduled to be released over the course of 2015, and with technology giants constantly pushing the boundaries there is little doubt that there will be plenty more to come.
