Fayre of St James charity Christmas concert with Tom Odell and Laura Wright on 24th November
Tuesday 24th November will see Quintessentially Foundation and The Crown Estate host the fourth annual Fayre of St James’s charity Christmas concert, in partnership with Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management. This magical concert in aid of children’s charity Rays of Sunshine, will take place in the beautiful setting of St James’s Church – welcoming 500 Londoners, VIPs and St James’s residents for an evening of carols, live performances, festive readings and Christmas cheer.
Now in its fourth year, the Fayre of St James’s sees celebrity performers, VIP guest speakers and a host of influential individuals, come together to raise a life changing amount of money for Rays of Sunshine. Among this year’s line-up, BRIT Award-winning artist, Tom Odell will be performing and will be joined by performances from soprano Laura Wright and the London Community Gospel Choir. This year will also include readings from the iconic British actor Brian Blessed, BAFTA Award winner Matthew Macfayden and actress Sophie Winkleman during the concert, with more guests to be announced. Over the last few years, famous faces have included; Hugh Grant, Leona Lewis, Nick Frost, Pixie Lott, James Morrison, Noah Stewart, James Nesbit, Tamsin Egerton and many more.
Following the concert, guests will be invited to enjoy the exclusive switch on of the Jermyn Street Christmas lights with a glass of some of the finest English sparkling wine from Nyetimber before moving onto Mayfair restaurant, Quaglino’s, for a lavish Christmas celebration. Throughout the evening attendees will be treated to sumptuous canapés, live entertainment and a series of bespoke cocktails. The evening will also feature a silent auction and guests will be able to interact and bid on a range of festive experiences.
This year’s Fayre of St James’s committee includes a host of VIPs and London movers-and- shakers including; Stephen Fry, Sophie Dahl, Ben Goldsmith and Geordie Greig. All proceeds from the evening will be donated to Rays of Sunshine, the UK charity committed to granting wishes for seriously and terminally ill children between the ages of three and 18.
