One of the most talked about celebrities in the world, American singer Taylor Swift has rocked countless hair styles. From long curls to a bleached blonde bob, we take a look back at her versatile locks.

Back in 2006, Taylor Swift appeared on the pop scene with messy blonde curls singing about love and growing up. Within the year she had turned into a world-famous popstar and her wild waves had been given a Hollywood make-over. The 18-year-old girl from Pennsylvania was now wearing glamorous dresses, walking the red carpet and had her messy golden curls styled to perfection.

With a full beauty team at hand, Taylor was able to change up her hair whenever she wanted. Whether styled in a flirty ponytail or highlighted with a blunt fringe like at the 2010 American Music Awards, she has always been keen to experiment with shape and cut.

After years of long tresses, in 2014 Taylor cut her hair into a shoulder-length choppy bob, still rocking that golden tone. Her style had matured, both beauty and fashion-wise.

Although a fan of changing her hairstyle, Taylor has always remained light with her colouring. She did try out bright red hair in her much-anticipated Bad Blood music video, and later showcased a dark-coloured wig in the video for Wildest Dreams, but Taylor always returned to her golden blonde roots.

Just as we were getting used to the chic and classic Taylor, she cut a couple more inches off her hair and added a blunt fringe. However this style only lasted a few months before she went for her most drastic and current beauty look: a bleach blonde, messy bob.

It’s been nearly 10 years since Taylor burst on to the music scene and although her hair evolution is quite something, she’ll always be the beautiful blonde who sings about love and growing up.
